My journey to addiction started early at 10 years old. I started drinking my grandfather's wine that was filtered from a bag into a wooden barrel. I got drunk and discovered what it meant to take my mind off the fears and anguish that I felt.

About 5 months ago, I quit my job and came to Narconon Europe because I decided to change my life. Until I arrived here, and also in the beginning after I arrived here, I was full of vague anxiety every day.
I Want to Live My Life With Happiness
I learned a lot of things from this program. On Withdrawal, I stopped taking alcohol and gave my body rest to recover. I was able to experience what it felt like to confront myself and my body. On the New Life Detox, I refreshed myself. I used to have a fogginess in my head and my body was dull.
When I First Started Using Drugs…
I was just a young teenager when I first started using drugs. It was first alcohol and hash. Just to get away from everything for a little bit. At one point that was not enough. I needed to get even further away, just wanted to escape everything.
My Sister
My sister started shooting heroin at the age of sixteen. She was a beautiful girl, black hair, bright green eyes, and with all the attributes to be a model with intelligence beyond the norm.

Commonly abused drugs such as alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, and heroin are still the most widely used, but hundreds of new synthetic substances have emerged in recent years. The main danger is the lack of knowledge of what they really contain.
