The Narconon Program Really Works

Pepa K., Graduate, Narconon Europe

Hi, my name is Pepa, and I have completed the full Narconon program!

At a very early age I was labeled dyslexic: not able to read; I had dysgraphia: not able to write; I had dyscalculia: I couldn't understand or work with numbers or math; and I was also labeled with attention disorder and hyperactivity (ADHD). As a result of all that, I was treated with medication. The medications and the labels made me feel like a target; I felt judged, vulnerable, and unwanted. By the age of 12, I gave up on people. I stopped trusting others, stopped believing that anyone cared about me, and then I just started drinking and smoking weed. By the age of 15, I started injecting meth. Later, I added LSD and hallucinogens, and most of it all in one go.

At this point in my life, so that I didn't have to buy the drugs, I decided to make them myself.

I finally went to my first treatment for drugs and alcohol at the age of 20. This was a place where they gave me medication for sleeping, sedating, and suppressing the pain and sensations. After this, I dragged through for another 4 years.

By this point, I snapped and thought the only solution to my misery was going to be when my life was over.

Fortunately, by chance, I was brought to Narconon. I came to Narconon completely broken, messed-up. Honestly, I had just come to "have a look," but I stayed and immediately started the program.

The 1st step was withdrawal. As anyone can tell you, withdrawal is filled with anxiety-attacks, I couldn’t breathe, walk, or talk. I was sweating, freezing cold, had goosebumps all over my body, shaking, and twisted in cramps. Withdrawal can be terrible.

It hurts, but in Narconon withdrawal, with the vitamins, Cal-Mag, assists, and especially the assists called "locationals," they helped me a lot when things were at their worst.

Then the New Life Detox, this step of the program helped me too—thank you, Elli and Louis, for helping me through.

This was followed by the training drills and the objectives.

Then, Life Skills, including the "Overcoming Ups and Downs in Life" and "Personal Values." On the Personal Values Life Skills course, I spent 2 months addressing what I had done to others and my environment while on drugs, and all of that pushed me out of my comfort-zone and it was difficult, but it helped me to grow.

Thank you, Hana, Davide, and Denis, for helping me through those steps.

“Now I’ve been clean for 7 months for the first time in over 25 years, and most of the time I feel great.”

Now I’ve been clean for 7 months for the first time in over 25 years, and most of the time I feel great.

I have finally discovered who I really am, myself, whom I didn’t know before.
I realized I have a reason to live: a loving family and friends.

And we accomplished all this without a single pill.

Thanks to Narconon and all of you, I’m no longer just surviving—I’m starting to truly live.

I also found my purpose in life, which is to help others.

I look forward to the future and to the time when my sobriety will be counted in years.

AND YES, THE NARCONON PROGRAM REALLY WORKS!

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
