A vital step in true rehabilitation is the ability to be in the present and not be haunted by the past. The Objectives step on the Narconon program is designed to help a person move out of the past and into present time, so they are ready and able to face life without resorting to drugs.

When I started the Objectives step of my rehab, I was so numb. I wasn’t able to feel any emotions at all. Then, step by step as I went through the Objectives, the numbness started to gradually fade away. I also had a lot of anger that came out during these sessions. I was struggling with unpleasant memories but as I progressed, they went away and my outlook improved.

“After one Objective in particular, my life changed 100%. I saw everything around me in such a different way. Even the way I thought about my past and my future changed for the better.”

“When I went to rehab in the past, I would leave before I had completed the program. This time I pushed myself and I stayed to complete the Narconon program. It feels great to know I can achieve what I want and I can push through all the pain and misery because, in the end, the outcome is worth it. I never thought I would actually get this far. Even though I haven’t completed the full program and have more steps to do, I am proud of what I have achieved so far. I didn’t think I would get through all the Objectives and it feels great to know I did it.”
