I Lost All My Friends Because of Cocaine…

“I had goals in life, just like anybody else. And I had big goals; I wanted to be the best and the wealthiest—I was dreaming about money and power all day. One day at a party, one of my friends offered me cocaine and suddenly all of these goals seemed even more possible when I used this substance.

“I felt more confident in what I said and I felt I could surpass everybody, both mentally and physically. I felt very energetic and I felt like I could accomplish everything, but this was not the truth…

“I started taking cocaine at parties on the weekend, then after six months, I started using it three times a week. From that point on, I got very addictive and I could not start my day without it. I developed a bad nose from sniffing cocaine, I had trouble sleeping and I was constantly the effect of it.

“This is also when I started stealing money just to afford my cocaine abuse. I was stealing from my family, from my neighbours—from anywhere I could. Basically, I was acting so degraded, I was at a point where I never thought I would be.

“Instead of being the best and the wealthiest, I was becoming the poorest and the worst. It was when I saw that everyone near me was leaving me one-by-one, that I realized and understood that I wanted to take an action.

“My cousin introduced me to Narconon and this program was my ’rescue.’ I went there to get help and I was willing to go through anything to get out of my addiction. I went through withdrawal for four days and now I am just finished with detox, I know I have two more steps to be completely through, but I already feel much better.

“In conclusion, I would say: never do drugs; as cool as it might lookit is a trap!!! Instead, respect and love the people who are in your life.”
