I Am No Longer a Slave to Drugs

I was born in Sicily in the city of Agrigento. I lived there until I turned 17, and after that, I moved to northern Italy.
Before I started using drugs, I had a normal life. I had good friends, I was going to school, and I played football. One of the best moments of my life, before I became addicted to drugs, was when my girlfriend and I were in love.
I started using drugs when was 15 years old. One of my friends introduced me by insisting I smoke a joint. That was the first negative experience with drugs in my life. After that, I started to create trouble and I lost the trust of my family.
I found out about Narconon through one of my friends who completed the program. I saw the results of the program in him, and I decided to try the Narconon program for myself.
When I arrived to Narconon, I met all the staff. I found that they were very qualified and professional. They made me feel at home. This feeling comforted me a lot. I knew then that I found the right place.
I enjoyed my stay throughout the whole program. The staff and the others on the program understood me, because they had all experienced the same reality. We shared a common goal: to be free from drugs.
I have now accomplished my own personal victory. I take pride in myself because I know I am a valuable person who can give so much.
My second accomplishment was that I won back the trust of my family through my hard work and what it took to be free from drugs.
My third biggest accomplishment was that I am now an example for the students and all the new students of the Narconon program.
Now, my perceptions have improved and are clear. I feel like when I was a boy before I started using drugs. With everything I have accomplished through the Narconon program, drugs are now just a bad memory that belongs in the past, a closed chapter.
“Now I feel proud of myself, because I won an hard battle, and I consider myself a Narconon Graduate with pride.”
I feel proud of myself because I won a hard battle. I think of myself as a Narconon Graduate with pride.
I have to goal now to run the family business together with my brother and expand in the business world.
I am proud to have taken back my life, and that I am no longer a slave to drugs.
I have an excellent relationship built on trust with my family, and we live in a peaceful family environment.
