A New Start: Jacob’s Journey from Addiction to Purpose

My name is Jacob, I’m 32 years old, and I’m from the Czech Republic. I was addicted to crystal meth for about 5 years. I managed to quit for a few months a couple of times, but I always ended up going back to it, wasting my potential for no reason.

I really want to thank my father, who introduced me to this idea and brought me here to Denmark.

To be honest, I was a bit scared at first about how everything would go.

Fortunately, here at Narconon, the program is set up completely differently, and the staff is professionally trained.

My program here in Denmark at the Narconon center was almost 6 months long. In the Training drills and Objectives with Thelma, I realized many things that I really want to do after this program, and in which areas of my life I need to make changes and which way is necessary to go.

I also realize here that I really love my whole family, because I missed them all very much, and I don’t want to lose them. Relationships with my family are very important.

So thank you all, because now I can say with peace of mind that this is really great, and every day my willpower and determination to never use drugs again in my life are growing stronger.

Now I’m really looking forward to coming back to Czech for the start of my new life without drugs and new opportunities in my work life. My time spent here at Narconon was very useful for my future growth and moving my personal life forward.
