The Event in Vejle, Denmark
Narconon Europe was one of the exhibitors at the Health Exhibition in Vejle, Denmark on March 5th and 6th. The purpose of the exhibition was to educate the public on different types of alternative treatment available at the exhibition and throughout the year in Denmark. There were more than 60 exhibitors. Some of the presenters were providing their services onsite. As an example, the public could pay for a massage and other healing procedure that do not use any medicine but rather a natural therapy.
Our purpose was to educate the public about our new rehabilitation center and provide brochures and books explaining how the Narconon program addresses the problems of substance abuse in society and works to rehabilitate those who are addicted to alcohol and other drugs in a holistic way.
Of the hundreds of people who attended the exhibition, there were many that told us about a friend or family member that needed our help. Those that we talked to in depth, showed high interest in our sauna detoxification program, expressing that it only makes sense that anyone that abuses alcohol and other drugs would be physically intoxicated.
They were enlightened on the fact that a large part of relapse appears to come from the release of drug residues that are stored in the fatty tissue of the body. More than one acknowledged that they liked the idea of a rehab program dealing with the physical aspects of addiction and not classifying addiction an incurable disease.
