Grateful to Narconon!

My name is A.P. I was a very happy kid until I started abusing drugs.

My drug abuse started with weed, like most teenagers in high school. I thought it was cool and I was experiencing new things which my friends were already doing.

I finished school with good grades and started college while still being addicted. I was expelled in the third year because of my heroin addiction.

With the help of my parents, I was able to kick that addiction and later found that it was an illusion. In reality, I had just replaced heroin with alcohol and eventually amphetamines. I used to think, "I’m not taking heroin, so I’m not an addict."

I started working as a taxi driver and I got into the habit of taking "speed" daily. I quit my job and was finally aware of the fact that I was an addict and there was nothing I could do with my addiction. I always had a large amount of drugs to hand and I felt that getting rid of my addiction was impossible.

“I got my last chance to turn my life around, and I am proud I managed to do it.”

When I turned 27, I was tired of my addiction. I wanted to live a normal life, so I asked my parents to help me. Thanks to my parents, they found out about the Narconon rehabilitation center in Denmark, and this is how I came to Narconon.

Happy young man

I started the Narconon program and during the program, I realized drugs caused all that is wrong in my life.

Under the influence of drugs and alcohol, I was harming myself and the people around me.

I am very grateful to the Narconon program, which helped me to be clean and sober and face reality. The Life Skills courses of the Narconon program taught me how to handle problems in life.

Believe me, I got my last chance to turn my life around, and I am proud I managed to do it.

After completing the Narconon program, I started a new life which is worth living. I am very happy and so is my family.

Thanks to Narconon Europe for saving my life!
