Fantastic Success from Narconon Program 

At the age of 13, I was very active in dancing, piano and art, and had big ambition in each area. But, I was bored, I was shy and felt alone. I stopped both dancing and piano, and was left with loneliness and boredom. After this, I started using drugs.

I got into an environment filled with drugs, and got friends who also used. It evolved from smoking hash to injecting both morphine and methamphetamine. I deteriorated fast. With a height of 180cm, I weighed way under 50 kilos at my worst. My body was blue, green and purple from malnutrition and drugs.

I had no hope for myself, I didn't see help as an option to me, after two failed rehab programs. Drugs were my life, and this was how it was going to be, for what was left of it.

I was tired. I lost contact with my family as they were protecting my younger sibling by not allowing me at home. I was stealing and I sold drugs—all so I would be able to use more drugs. 

At the age of 20 my parents said “that’s it”, and tried several times to convince me to go in rehab—again. 

I said “no,” over and over again, but after some time I realized, “I do not want to die as a drug addict,” and realized I needed to get some self-respect back.

I decided to make an honest attempt at getting drug-free at Narconon Denmark. I didn't know what to expect, but it was more then I could ever hope for.

The program took me from a position where I was completely out of communication with myself, my body, my environment and people around me—to a point where I could be cause and responsible for these areas.

Through the program, I experienced getting more and more control over my life, a healthy body with a lot of energy, and most significant of all—I was comfortable being me. I could be myself, real and natural. I didn't feel fake anymore, and could feel my real emotions and get help to handle them by myself.

I cleaned up many things that bothered me from my past, and to get that burden of my shoulder made me ready to embrace my new life!

Life after Narconon is very exciting for me. I stayed in Denmark and it’s a decision I’m happy I made. I decided to help people, and that is still important for me today.

I have now been drug free over 5 years, and have achieved a lot. Thanks to everything I learned at Narconon, I now have the possibility to live life the way I wanted. 

I am now married to a great man, and together we have an amazing son. If it wasn't for Narconon I might not have had that.
